Folk rock band Green Diesel returns to The Ballroom Canterbury this week to bring another explosive evening of electric folk to the masses.

The Faversham-based band are transporting their regular folk night, Dirty Linen, from London to Canterbury on Thursday, June 27, and will be showcasing more Kentish talent as well performing themselves.

Having already presented sets from Galley Beggar and The Bubbleband at the Ballroom in March, this week Green Diesel perform alongside one-man band Funke and The Two Tone Baby, and the primal Brides of Rain.

As ever, Dirty Linen night of electric folk combines the spirit of 1960s folk rock movement with modern musical innovation, with tall tales, intense performances and pulsating rhythm.

Doors open at 7.30pm for an 8pm start. Tickets are £3 on the door, no advance tickets. Call 01227 760801.
