Ann Widdecombe, ex-MP for Maidstone and The Weald, will be returning to Kent this week to sign copies of her new autobiography.

In addition to her reputation as one of Britain’s most outspoken politicians, Ann recently gained a new audience with her witty appearances on BBC panel show Have I Got News For You and her unique performance on BBC show Strictly Come Dancing.

Strictly Ann covers these experiences and more, from her early life in Singapore and her convent school days to her student ambitions at Birmingham and Oxford, and her years as an MP and Government Minister.

Ann also explains the roots of her conversion to Catholicism in 1993, her deeply held views on abortion and gay marriage, and offers thoughts on the current Coalition, MPs’ expenses and the state of the nation.
