The Social festival in Maidstone will raise funds for The Quest School and Spadework in Offham

Grammy nominated music producer Nic Fanciulli is to host the first in a series of fundraising events for local charities ahead of this year's Social festival.

On the bank holiday weekend, he will stage a summer party at The Swan in West Malling, where he lives, in aid of Spadework in Offham.

With chilled disco, funk and club classics, the Community party will be on Sunday, August 28 from 4pm to 11pm, in aid of the charity.

Tickets, for over 25s, cost £50, including a glass of fizz on arrival and barbecue.

As well as donating a share of the takings from the festival, which will be held at the Kent Showground on September 9 and 10, they have also set up a Go Fund Me page, aiming to raise £10,000. For details go to gofundme.com/questschool
