Ashford: Create Festival to be held in Victoria Park this weekend with live music and DJs

The 22nd Create Music Festival this weekend will host more than 40 bands, solo performers, DJs and acts from the area on Saturday, July 22.

The line-up for the festival in Victoria Park, Ashford, includes ska legends, The Selecter, supported by Riskee & the Ridicule and Kent’s garage rock band, the Bay Rays headlining the Revelation Ashford stage.

The Bay Rays come fresh from their recent BBC Radio 1 Maida Vale session with Huw Stephens.

Following on from last year’s performance from David Live, the David Bowie tribute act will return for a two-hour show at Revelation Ashford on Friday, July 21.

Create Festival organiser, Chris Dixon, said: “We believe the line-up is a good mix of high quality local bands, up and coming artists, and individuals playing in front of a crowd for the first time.”
