The War and Peace Revival is to return to Folkestone Racecourse next summer.

After a quarter of a century as the War and Peace Show at the Hop Farm in Paddock Wood, this year it was renamed the War and Peace Revival and held at the Westenhanger venue.

More than 100,000 people flocked to the five-day event in July, which included military vehicle displays, trade stands, Living History scenes and a Vintage Village offering period entertainment.

As a result of its success, organisers have announced that it will be returning to Folkestone Racecourse from Wednesday, July 16 to Sunday, July 20, 2014.

The 2014 show will include a performance by Britain’s Got Talent semi-finalists the Jive Aces, and the Kent-based John Miller Orchestra.

Tickets will be on sale from Monday, January 6, priced £19.50 for adults, £17.50 for children aged five to 16, and free for under fives.

Second World War veterans will be admitted for free, as long as they pre-book.

Advance discounts are available.
