Singer and TV presenter Cheryl Baker has been announced as one of the celebrities heading for ITV’s Dancing On Ice.
The former Bucks Fizz star, who lives in Kent, and is honorary patron of the KM Charity Team, was named as one of the contestants set to get their skates on for the show. She joins last year's British Bake Off queen Candice Brown and Coronation Street star Antony Cotton.
Cheryl, who has been spotted practising locally ahead of the show, tweeted today, “OK, I’m ready!"
She also told viewers of Lorraine that she was nervous, having not skated since she was 12.
Bookmakers Betway have named her as an early favourite to fall over on the show, alongside weatherman Alex Beresford.
Also in the line-up is Corrie’s Brooke Vincent, ex rugby union international Max Evans and former The X-Factor star Jake Quickenden.
The show starts on ITV on Sunday, January 7.
