Canterbury: Westgate Parks hosts its annual Scarecrow Trail with some 30 scarecrows to see

Scarecrows with character are coming to a park near you this weekend.

Canterbury’s Westgate Parks will be home to Canterbury City Council’s third Westgate Parks Scarecrow Trail on Saturday, October 7.

Some 30 entries are expected from local schools, youth organisations, businesses, charities and individuals for the trail, which runs between 10am and 4pm.

Follow the scarecrows on a trail through the Westgate Gardens, Toddler’s Cove and Tannery Field and then vote for your favourite.

There are likely to be some colourful celebrities mingling with the traditional characters.
