He's been taking the world by storm with his new music, but pop star Ed Sheeran has still found time to chat to kmfm.

The 25-year-old singing sensation has just released two new songs, Castle on the Hill and Shape of You to mark his return to music after a year out.

Fresh from his return to the charts, he chatted to Garry and Laura on the kmfm breakfast show.

He talked about his new music - taken from his forthcoming album - his gap year and the possibility of a tour, plus he squeezed in playing Say It against the clock with the pair.

Garry and Laura are on kmfm breakfast Monday to Friday, 6am to 10am.
