Gorillaz at Demon Dayz at Dreamland, Margate, to be joined by Noel Gallagher and big music names

Gorillaz will be joined by former Britpop rival Noel Gallagher and former Blur bandmate Graham Coxon when they play in Kent this summer.

The band will make their UK comeback at Demon Dayz at Dreamland on Saturday, June 10, at the one-day extravaganza.

They made their live return at a surprise show at Printworks in London at the weekend, where they were joined by the former Oasis frontman Noel Gallagher and Graham Coxon on stage.

In the 90s, the two frontmen were Britpop rivals, with their bands Blur and Oasis going head to head in the charts.

After the show at the weekend, singer Damon confirmed that the pair - along with others featured on the upcoming album, Humanz - would appear at Demon Dayz with them.

Damon reportedly told the crowd that virtually all the artists who appear on the album would be appearing at Dreamland with them. "They’ll be all here when we play Margate," he said.

The one-day festival will take place across three stages with an eclectic line-up curated by band leaders Damon and Jamie Hewlett.

Former Oasis singer Noel provided backing vocals during We Got The Power. Former Blur bandmate Graham Coxon joined in with a rendition of Submission.
