Burns Night is an annual celebration of Scottish poet Robert Burns, celebrated on his birthday.

What’s On has put together a guide to some of the Scottish-themed shindigs taking place around the county on this year's Burns Night - Saturday, January 25.

FAVERSHAM

Enjoy a welcoming dram and traditional two-course meal at the Phoenix Tavern, featuring cock-a-leekie soup and a main course of haggis, tatties and neeps with the chef’s special scotch ale gravy.

The London Beach Hotel in St Michael’s is holding a Burns Night banquet from 7.30pm, with a performance by Ceilidh band the Springer Sisters, a Scottish piper and readings of Burns’ poetry.
