Look to the skies as the Red Arrows roar overhead again this year at Herne Bay’s air show.

The South East Airshow, on Saturday, August 19, has the roarsome reds for the third year in a row, ready to put on a dazzling display that will be seen for miles.

There will also be a jaw-dropping display from the Eurofighter Typhoon, a state-of-the-art twin-engine craft guaranteed to get the crowd’s attention with its deafening mid air manoeuvres.

The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight remains on the timetable but only one Griffon-powered Spitfire will perform after an engine issue was discovered with the Lancaster and Hurricane.

The Spitfire and Hurricane from the Biggin Hill Heritage Hangar are also still set to display.

Dozens of aircraft from the traditional to the high-tech will be creating thrills and spills across the sky through the day, while there will be static aircraft displays along the seafront, and music into the evening.
