My guilty (Christmas) pleasure: Christmas Wrapping, the Spice Girls - “It’s a dark secret!”

Fave Christmas movie: National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. “Every year we watch this movie at home. One year my dad couldn’t find it so ordered another one a few days before Christmas... only to open the DVD player on the big day to see that it was still there from last year!”

My guilty (Christmas) pleasure: Destiny’s Child, 8 Days of Christmas

“It’s not the most traditional Christmas song, but as far as I’m concerned if Beyoncé and her girls are singing you can’t go wrong!”

Fave Christmas movie: Elf

“It’s my all-time favourite Christmas movie. I can watch it again and again and it always gets me feeling festive! If you’ve not seen it, make sure you get snuggled on the sofa with a hot chocolate this Christmas and watch it with your family.”

My guilty (Christmas) pleasure: Justin Bieber’s Mistletoe

“There’s nothing more embarrassing than a grown man liking a Justin Bieber song from his bowl cut era, especially a Christmas one, but I can’t deny the fact that every year, without fail, this will be on loud when I’m putting up the decorations,” says Glen.

Fave Christmas movie: Love Actually

“If I could only watch one Christmas movie for the rest of my life, then it’d be this one, mainly because there’s about six mini movies within it. Christmas doesn’t start until I’ve watched Love Actually.”

My guilty (Christmas) pleasure: In Ducli Jubilo, by Mike Oldfield - “He plays all the instruments himself, you know! My favourite cover version of a Bach song.”

My guilty (Christmas) pleasure: The Darkness, Christmas Time (Don’t Let the Bells End). “It’s OTT and noisy and the video is ridiculous,” says Emma, “but it’s great fun and so energetic.”

Fave Christmas movie: The Muppet Christmas Carol. “I LOVE The Muppets, puppets in general and pretty much everything the Jim Henson Company have ever done.”

My guilty (Christmas) pleasure: The Greatest Love You’ll Ever Know, by Lutricia McNeal

“It never really did anything in the charts, but it was a good Christmassy tune. It is not even really a festive song, but Lutricia was wearing a winter throw on the CD cover. I liked it. I liked it – I think it was only me who bought it.”

Fave Christmas movie: Santa Claus The Movie

"Just brilliant. It’s a classic and that moment when he is dressed as Santa and you see all the toys when he does - just reminds you of what you imagined Santa’s home to be like.”

My guilty (Christmas) pleasure: Chris Rea, Driving Home For Christmas

“I like it because it’s got a great tune and doesn’t sound like a Christmas record too much and doesn’t have a load of Christmas bells on it. It also expresses what a lot of people do at Christmas – travel miles to see relations they haven’t seen for ages.”

Fave Christmas movie: Elf

“This is one of the funniest films of all time and you can watch it any time of the year as it’s so good. Will Ferrell as a tall elf is hilarious and his dad James Caan is wonderful.”
