The Libertines and Everything Everything will headline Dreamland's third By the Sea festival.
The announcement for the Margate festival line-up follows on from this weekend's sell-out Demon Dayz festival with Gorillaz at Dreamland.
For the first time the festival will extend to three days, being held from Friday, September 29 to Sunday, October 1.
The Libertines, with frontmen Carl Barât and Pete Doherty, will bring the event to a close, headlining on the Sunday night.
The Friday night will be headlined by Everything Everything, Ivor Novello and Mercury Prize nominees. The band play Margate as they embark on a sold-out tour.
With a string of rare yet consistently sold-out shows under their belt, Metronomy will play to an intimate crowd on the Saturday.
The festival finales will be The Libertines, who will be playing some of their iconic anthems and come to Margate as part of a tour of UK seaside towns.
A full line-up of support acts and DJs will be announced soon.
