A new production of Willy Russell’s award-winning musical Blood Brothers is coming to Kent.

It tells the story of twin boys separated at birth who are reunited by a twist of fate, with tragic consequences, and features well-known songs Marilyn Monroe and Tell Me It’s Not True.

The show made its West End debut in 1983 to critical acclaim, winning the Olivier Award for Best New Musical and Best Actress in its first year.

This production stars Maureen Nolan, best known as part of 1970s pop group the Nolan Sisters, as Mrs Johnstone, the boys’ mother.

It is at the Churchill Theatre in Bromley from Tuesday, October 8 to Saturday, October 12. Tickets from £12.90. Call 0844 871 7627.

The show will also be at Dartford’s Orchard Theatre from Monday, November 18 to Saturday, November 23. Call 01322 220000.
