Ska legend Neville Staple, Kent dates

The original rude boy is doubling up in Kent this week.

Neville Staple, whose glittering 35-year career has seen him have massive hits with The Specials and the Fun Boy Three, will be at Chatham’s Britannia Theatre on Friday, October 17 and Margate’s West Coast Bar on Saturday, October 18.

After starting out with The Specials in the late 1970s, Neville went on to work with bands such as Fun Boy Three Special Beat and Unwritten Law.

And now, along with his band which was formed in 2004 with four former members of Bad Manners, Neville will come to Kent with his Gangsters Tour to promotes his latest album, Ska Crazy. He will be supported at both gigs by Talisman.
