A spinning car closed the Thanet Way this morning.
Police were called at 9.54am to the coastbound side of the A299, just outside Whitstable, to reports of an accident.
A car had been involved in a collision which caused it to spin.
It blocked lane two of the carriageway for about an hour until it was recovered.
The road re-opened at 10.55am and no other vehicles were involved.
No one was injured.
