Police hunt four youths who attacked disabled man in Millstrood Road, Whitstable.

A disabled man has been set upon in the street in Whitstable by a gang of youths who taunted him and punched him repeatedly in the face.

The sickening assault happened in Millstrood Road, at around 5.30pm on Saturday and police have now launched an appeal to find the teenagers responsible.

The 21-year-old victim suffered head injuries and had his glasses stamped on and smashed when they fell off. The youths also made offensive remarks about his disability.

It happened near the entrance to a small alleyway that leads from Millstrood Road to Grimshill Road alongside the stream.

The suspects are described as male, white, aged between 16 and 18, between 5ft 8in and 6ft tall, of medium build with short dark hair.

One was wearing grey tracksuit bottoms and a grey and black hoody. Another had grey tracksuit bottoms and a grey hoody with an unknown letter in large blue print on the hoody. The remaining two youths were wearing grey tracksuits.

The victim says the youths walked off toward Belmont Road and he later saw them on Millstrood Road as if going toward Whitstable Train Station.
