Woman freed from crash in Radfall Road, Chestfield

A woman was treated by paramedics after a two-vehicle crash.

Firefighters were called just after 6.45pm last night to Radfall Road, Chestfield, near Whitstable.

Heavy rescue equipment was used to free a woman from one of the vehicles, by removing the roof.

She was then taken to an ambulance where she was assessed and treated for chest pain, before being taken to the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford.

A spokesman for Kent Fire and Rescue Service said fire crews made the scene safe before leaving at 7.43pm.
