TWO people are due before a court following an allegation that a private address was being used as a brothel.

Paul Mallinson, 38, of Jacob's Oak, Willesborough, Ashford, and 34-year-old Thi Nguyen, 34, of Garnies Close, Peckham, London, are charged with managing a brothel used for prostitution at an address in Wellesley Road, Ashford.

The pair are due to appear before magistrates at Ashford on Tuesday, March 27.

They were arrested on December 19, 2006, following an investigation by Kent Police. They were charged on Thursday, March 15, and then released on bail.

A 43-year-old woman from Kings Hill, West Malling, who was also arrested in connection with the investigation, was formally cautioned on February 15 for managing a brothel.
