The coroner's court at County Hall in Maidstone heard yesterday that the toddler, who would have been two next month, had crawled into the hot tub.

After being discovered, he was pulled out of the tub and placed on the deck, where he coughed up water, and the person who recovered him commenced CPR.

Paramedics attended and continued chest compressions, but Jetson was tragically declared dead at the scene on Sunday, June 12. His cause of death was listed as drowning.

Assistant coroner Bina Patel opened the inquest and suspended it to allow for gathering of evidence.

Ms Patel added: "I would like to pass on my most sincere condolences to the parents, family and friends of Jetson for this loss in such deeply tragic circumstances."

Jetson's cousin, singer-songwriter Lisa Maffia, paid tribute to her "handsome little cousin" on social media.

Posting on Instagram , the former member of So Solid Crew said: "I love you, and your mumma.

"I’m sorry you’re gone so soon. I know you’re safely in the hands of god.

"Until we meet again, sleep well my boy.

"This was not God's plan. God is good."

A family member told KentOnline: "Jetson was and always will be so deeply loved and it has been truly awful for the whole family."
