A biker was taken to a London hospital after a crash in Ashford.
The man, aged in his 50s, suffered a serious head injury in the two-vehicle collision along the A2070 in Kingsnorth last night.
Police, fire crews and paramedics were all called to the road at around 7pm following a report that a motorbike and Mini had collided near the Bridgefields roundabout.
The rider was assessed at the scene by ambulance crews and treated for serious injuries including head, arm and pelvic injuries.
He was then taken to King's College in London.
A spokesman for the police said: "The motorcyclist sustained injuries not believed to be life-threatening and he was taken to a London hospital."
Fire crews remained at the scene for around an hour to make sure it was safe.
The road was cleared by 8.45pm.
