Ashford man arrested following theft from BMW in Henwood

A man has been arrested on suspicion of theft after wheels and radiator were stolen from a BMW on an industrial estate.

The 29-year-old was found in possession of gloves, a hacksaw and a locking knife when he was arrested at 11.15pm on Friday.

The car was targeted on the Henwood Industrial Estate in Ashford.

Officers arrested the man on suspicion of theft from a motor vehicle, criminal damage, going equipped for theft, possessing a bladed article, handling stolen goods and theft of a bank card.

He has been released while investigations continue.
