Overturned cars on M20 between junctions 11 for Hythe and 10 for Ashford

Two overturned cars caused long queues on a motorway after a crash.

Two lanes were shut on the M20 London-bound between junctions 11 for Hythe and 10 for Ashford.

Traffic information site Inrix reported that two vehicles have overturned in the collision.

The motorway has since reopened.

A National Highways spokesman said on X: “There is around four miles of congestion on the approach, which adds about an hour to normal journey times.”

Emergency services have been contacted for further information.
