CCTV appeal after 'suspicious incident' in Ashford

Police officers have released the image of a man they wish to speak to following a suspicious incident.

Officers were called to a house in Ashford after a man was seen walking around the driveway of the property.

When the homeowner challenged the man over what he was doing, he asked a number of questions about his car, including whether it was for sale.

The man then walked away with no further incident, but the homeowner's suspicious were raised enough to inform the police.

Officers wish to speak to the man regarding the incident on the morning of Monday, May 11, and have released a CCTV image alongside their appeal.

A spokesperson said: "We are urging the man to come forward so we can establish the circumstances as to why he was on the driveway."
