A police officer from Kent has been beaten after making it to the last three in TV cooking competition MasterChef tonight.
Delia-Maria Asser, 28, from Ashford, has been competing in the finals of the BBC One culinary show all this week.
Delia, who works for Kent Police, was praised by the judges for her dishes in the final.
She prepared prawn bisque risotto to start, rabbit with quince as a main course and goats' cheese and vanilla pannacotta for dessert.
After being beaten by competition winner Ireni Tzortzoglou, Delia said: "MasterChef has been the best thing I've ever done".
Taking to Instagram earlier this week after making it through Delia said: "MY BEST BABES AND I ARE THROUGH TO THE FINAL 3! @irinitzortzoglou @jillymccordcooks
"I have got the biggest smile on my face - thank you everyone for your wonderful messages, support and all your love!
"I AM BEAMING!"
Speaking to KentOnline ahead of her television appearances, the amateur cook said she first applied to the show a few years ago: "Last year, it just felt like the right time.
"I’d always said I would go on MasterChef one day and when I reapplied and found out I got on, I was over the moon.
"I started cooking when I was very young, maybe seven or eight years old. I started by baking and making cakes but then went on to making packed lunches for me and my sister and dinner for my family.
"It definitely wasn’t always great but my parents taught me that practice makes perfect."

She added: "The process has been fantastic because I have made friends for life. It’s impossible not to get on well with people that you share the same passion and love of food with. Everyone I have met has been fantastic.
"It’s definitely given me the confidence to cook anything even if I have never done it before. I’ve definitely found my style now.
"I love buying ingredients I haven’t worked with before and developing flavour combinations and new techniques. MasterChef has been the best thing I have ever done."
