The community interest company (CIC) was set up by husband and wife team Luke and Angela Sorrell so they could share their passion for birds of prey with youngsters.

A fundraiser, launched after the break-in, says: “As many of you may know my family’s business Wide Eyes Falconry CIC got broken into at the weekend and everything they had of value was stolen.

“My parents have put in so much time and effort to make an enjoyable safe space for children and adults of all ages.

“To have this all taken away from them once again is just heartbreaking.”

A police spokesman said power tools and other items were stolen.

“The burglary took place between 3pm on Saturday and 3pm on Monday,” they said.

“Officers have attended and an investigation is ongoing.”
