Fire rips through Willesborough Cricket Club pavilion in Hythe Road, Ashford

Fire crews have battled a blaze which ripped through a cricket club pavilion in Ashford.

Three fire engines and a bulk water carrier were sent to the incident at Willesborough Cricket Club in Hythe Road shortly after 8am.

Flames were seen coming from the single-storey property, and crews wore breathing apparatus while extinguishing the fire.

No one was injured and the exact cause of the blaze has not yet been confirmed.
