Fire broke out beside a retail park earlier this afternoon.
Eyewitnesses saw smoke rising from a grass bank beside the Ashford Retail Park at around 12.40pm.
It is thought the smoke was coming from near the B&M store.
Kent Fire and Rescue Service confirmed it was called at 12:17pm to a grass bank alight.
A spokesman said one fire engine attended to deal with a small fire and left the scene shortly after 12:31pm.
