More than 20 firefighters battled flames in a property on Hornash Lane in Shadoxhurst.

Crews in four fire engines were sent to the weatherboarded property which is under development.

A fire service spokesman said: "It was found to be well alight with several seats of fire.

"Firefighters used hose reel jets and main jets to extinguish the fire.

"There were no reported injuries and the cause of the fire is yet to be established."

An investigation will take place.
