Free day out for people with disabilities and their families at Rare Breeds Centre in Woodchurch, near Ashford

People with disabilities, their families and carers can enjoy a free day out at a popular Kent attraction.

Superior Healthcare is celebrating two decades of supporting people with complex health needs by hosting the special community day at the Rare Breeds Centre in Woodchurch, near Ashford.

Pre-booking is required for the free event on Sunday, July 20, which will bring together clients, families, carers, and individuals with disabilities for a fully accessible, inclusive day out.

The event is open not only to current clients of Superior Healthcare, but also to anyone living with disabilities, along with their families and carers.

Guests will have full access to all attractions and facilities at the Rare Breeds Centre, including on-site food options, accessible amenities, and Changing Places–compliant washrooms. Attendees are also welcome to bring their own picnics.

Since its founding in 2005, Kent-based Superior Healthcare has provided care for adults and children with a range of complex medical conditions.

“Reaching our 20th year is a milestone that speaks to our unwavering commitment to high-quality, compassionate care,” said a spokesperson.

“This day is about community - bringing together those we support, their loved ones, and everyone who plays a role in delivering essential care to celebrate together.”

The company says the day offers an opportunity to connect with others receiving similar care and to enjoy quality time with family and the Superior Healthcare team.

Admission is free but pre-booking is required via superiorhealthcare.co.uk.

The event starts at 10am and early booking is advised to ensure availability.
