Ashford man charged after Manorfield assault

A man has been charged after another man was left with multiple injuries following an assault.

Emergency services were called to Manorfield in the Singleton area at around 1.30pm yesterday following reports of the disturbance.

The victim was found with multiple injuries to his head and chest, and was taken to the William Harvey Hospital for treatment.

After an investigation, police officers arrested Mr Frazer and charged him with causing actual bodily harm.

The 35-year-old, of The Bulrushes in Ashford, is also facing a separate charge of possession of a knife in a public place.

Mr Frazer currently remains in custody and is due to appear at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court this afternoon.
