Man seriously injured after Proton and Mini crash near Ashford

A man has been seriously injured in a crash.

Police are appealing for information after the collision near Ashford yesterday.

At around 12.40pm, a blue Proton and a light-blue Mini crashed on the A28 near Wye.

Officers were called to the scene alongside paramedics and fire services, and a man and a woman were taken to the William Harvey Hospital.

The man suffered serious injuries and remains in hospital.

The Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) is investigating and is appealing to anyone who saw what happened, or who has dashcam footage that could help enquiries, to contact them.
