Man still in serious condition following fatal crash on A251 Boughton Aluph

A man remains in a serious condition following a head-on crash in which a woman in her 60s died.

Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses following the accident on the A251 in Boughton Aluph, near Ashford on Wednesday, July 31.

Officers say a man who was airlifted to a London hospital is still in a serious but stable condition more than a week after the crash.

The accident - which involved a Vauxhall Corsa and VW Passat - happened close to the junction with Wye Road at about 3.30pm.

Sergeant Peter Greaves said: "We still want to speak to anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the collision, in particular those who were reportedly travelling in a green Audi in the Faversham direction, as they may have information which could assist our investigation.”
