A man has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car on a pedestrian crossing.
The incident, which involved a yellow Peugeot 208, happened in Tithe Barn Lane in Singleton, Ashford, at 3.50pm.
Paramedics were called to the scene and police closed the road in both directions.
A spokeswoman for the ambulance service said: “We were called at about 3.50pm to reports of a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian on Tithe Barn Lane in Ashford.
“Crews assessed and treated one patient at the scene before conveying them to William Harvey Hospital with minor injuries.”
The road has now reopened.
