Kawasaki and Yamaha motorbikes stolen from The Street in Great Chart, Ashford

Off-road motorbikes have been stolen from an outbuilding in Ashford.

Two bikes, which are worth more than £10,000 were reportedly take from a property in The Street, Great Chart between 11.45pm on Sunday, October 13 and 12.30am the following day.

One of the bikes is described as a Kawasaki 250cc in green and black with a personalised design, with the other being a customised blue and white Yamaha YZ250.

Inspector Jason Atkinson from Ashford community safety unit said: "These two bespoke bikes were reported stolen during the night and we would like to hear from anyone who saw anything suspicious, or perhaps heard the bikes travelling in the area at the time.

"We would also like to hear from anyone who has been offered the bikes for sale."

Witnesses are asked to call Kent Police on 01843 222289 quoting 46/198323/19.

The victim is offering a £2,000 reward for any information that leads to the recovery of the bikes.
