Motorcyclist injured after crash on A20 Maidstone Road near Ashford

A man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries following a crash.

Police and paramedics were called to the A20 in Hothfield, near Ashford, following the collision at around 5.22pm.

The road was blocked for almost four hours following the crash, which involved a motorbike and a car.

One ambulance and a Critical Care Paramedic were sent to the scene alongside police.

The motorcyclist was treated at the scene before being taken to the William Harvey Hospital with serious injuries.

At about 8.30pm the crash site was cleared and traffic began to ease.
