M20 re-opened coastbound between junction 10 for Ashford and junction 11 for Hythe after being closed due to car fire

The M20 has re-opened after being partially blocked by a burning car on the coastbound section between junction 10 for Ashford and junction 11 for Hythe.

Firefighters tackled the flames and police closed one lane of the motorway after the vehicle caught light at 11.30am.

No one was injured in the fire.

The Highways Agency said there are no longer any delays and thanked drivers for their patience.
