A man has been arrested on suspicion of supplying class A drugs in Ashford.
Officers made the arrest this morning after carrying out a warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act at an address in Stanhope Road.
While searching the property, police seized around 200 wraps of a substance believed to be heroin and cocaine. They also seized cash, knives and mobile phones.
An 18-year-old man from Brixton in London was arrested on suspicion of supplying controlled drugs.
He remains in police custody.
The arrest was made as part of an ongoing initiative known as Operation Raptor, which is designed to tackle, disrupt and prevent violent crime and the possession of offensive weapons, as well as the supply of class A drugs.
