Police seal off Victoria Park in Ashford as search for Yugal Limbu continues

Police have sealed off a park and have been seen scouring a river as they search for a missing man.

Officers are looking for Yugal Limbu, 33, who was last seen in the early hours of Saturday in Ashford.

They issued a missing person's appeal earlier this afternoon and have now taped off Victoria Park as part of their search.

Two police cars and a van are parked nearby, with officers guarding the entrances to the open space.

Mr Limbu was last seen near the park at about 1.30am on Saturday.

He is of slim build, around 5ft 10ins, with short black hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a black cap, black coat, black trousers and black trainers.

Last night, the police helicopter was spotted circling over the area.

Officers say they have reviewed CCTV and are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.

Anyone who has seen him or knows where he is should call police on 101, quoting 08-1310.
