Ashford: Police descend on Tesco Park Farm car park

A pensioner is in a serious condition in hospital after he collapsed in a Tesco Extra car park.

Up to seven ambulances and two police cars were called the Park Farm store in Ashford at 2.15pm.

An incident response unit and critical care car was also spotted at the scene off Moatfield Meadow.

Ambulance spokesman Rich Airey says the man has been taken to the William Harvey Hospital where his condition is described as serious.
