When complete, the Riverside Park development will feature 660 flats and a number of town houses.

Construction started in 2017 and despite delays, people started moving in to the homes in 2019 but not all of the blocks have been completed.

Now, the developers - GRE Assets - are hosting a rooftop event to showcase the latest aspects of the project and a peak inside the new apartments.

They have also released new images of the scheme, one which shows the communal roof top space.

Another shows the homes lining the Great Stour river and facing Victoria Park.

The event this Saturday, from 10am-4pm, is free to attend, but people need to register beforehand.

The day is aimed at "househunters and property investors" and will provide a chance to access deals.

The Riverside Park scheme is being built on part of the former Powergen site.

Another 400 flats are also proposed for land next to the site, which are being developed by a different builder and will be called ‘The Triangle’.

Work is expected to start next month.
