Police have issued an e-fit of the man they want to speak to after a pedestrian was allegedly attacked by a cyclist.
The assault is said to have happened in Beaver Road, Ashford, on the footpath between Stour Avenue and Christchurch Road.
Police say the victim was walking along the pavement when he became involved in an argument with the cyclist.
As the pedestrian walked away, the cyclist got off his bike and hit the victim "several times" with a piece of wood before cycling off towards Godfrey Walk.
The man was left with injuries to his hand and leg but didn't need further medical help.
The cyclist is believed to be in his late teens and is 5ft 11ins tall.
He is of slight build, clean-shaven and has short dark-brown hair.
At the time of the alleged attack he was wearing a blue T-shirt and jeans.
The attack happened around 8.45om on Tuesday, August 7.
Police tonight issued an e-fit of the man they want to interview.
A police spokesman said: "As part of officers’ on-going enquiries, an efit image of a man who could assist the investigation has been compiled with the help of the victim."
