Kent Fire and Rescue (KFRS) says its crew was able to remove her with slings before helping her back on solid ground.

Nettie was then checked by the vet and is since safely back in her barn enjoying some well-earned hay with her calf.

It is believed to have taken several hours to rescue her following the incident yesterday afternoon.

Owner and farmer, Martyn Dean, said: "Kent Fire and Rescue was excellent, saving us and Nettie a whole heap of bother.

”Just another legendary rescue.”
