Three suspected migrants caught fleeing for back of a lorry in Ashford arrested

Three suspected migrants caught fleeing from the back of a lorry have been arrested.

The men were captured by officers in Ashford today and arrested for immigration offences.

A spokesman said: "Kent Police was called at around midday on Saturday, September 7 following the discovery of suspected migrants in a lorry in Waterbrook Avenue, Ashford.

"Officers attended the area where three men were located and handed over to the Home Office immigration enforcement facility in Dover."
