While at the station on Monday, the teen was arrested on suspicion of a public order offence but has since been released while enquiries continue.

Just after 2pm, a second man was arrested by the transport police.

A spokesperson from BTP said: “One man was arrested on suspicion of a racially aggravated public order offence.

"Officers were ejecting him from the station for not having a valid ticket when he made a racist comment to one of them.”
