Audi A4 abandoned and seized from Chichester Close, Ashford, as police arrest two people

Two people – including a teenage boy – have been arrested after an Audi failed to stop for police.

The blue A4 model was spotted by officers who requested it to stop near Great Chart, Ashford at 10.40am yesterday (Tuesday).

However, having failed to pull over, the vehicle is believed to have then travelled though the Great Chart Bypass, Brookfield Road and Victoria Park areas before being abandoned in Chichester Close.

Pictures show the vehicle later being seized by police.

A 37-year-old man and a 15-year-old boy were arrested nearby soon after on suspicion of dangerous driving and failing to stop.

They have been bailed pending further inquiries.

Police are now appealing for witnesses to come forward in a bid to help their investigation.
