Diamond jewellery stolen from property in Egerton House Road, Ashford on New Year's Eve

Diamond rings, brooches, earrings and necklaces have been reported stolen following a burglary in Ashford.

The sentimental jewellery was taken from a house in Egerton House Road at around 6.15pm on New Year's Eve.

Detectives have released images of the missing items - which includes a turquoise and rose diamond ring, a pearl and diamond heart-shaped brooch, a pearl and turquoise pendant, a set of pearl earrings and a necklace.

A Calvin Klein watch with four diamonds and an engraved gold-plated 1968 Roamer watch were also stolen.

Thieves are believed to have gained access to the property through a back window.

Police are asking witnesses to the burglary or anyone who may have been offered the items for sale to contact them on 01843 222289 quoting reference 46/247704/19.
