Three arrests after burglary and man attacked in Beaver Road

Three people believed to have been involved in a burglary have been arrested after a man was reportedly attacked.

The incident occurred in Beaver Road, Ashford, just before 7pm on Friday.

Police were called after reports that a burglary had taken place and a man had been assaulted.

He was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. He has since been discharged.

Three people believed to be involved were arrested in Maidstone a short while later.

A 26-year-old woman from Ashford was arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary, assault and criminal damage. She has been released on bail until July 26.

A 36-year-old Maidstone man was arrested on suspicion of assisting offenders and has been released on bail until July 31 pending further inquiries.

Another 36-year-old man from Maidstone was arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary, assault and criminal damage.

He has been released on bail until July 31.
