Two taken to hospital after crash on M20 London-bound near junction 9 for Ashford

Two people have been taken to hospital after a crash on a busy motorway.

Two lanes were closed on the M20 London-bound at junction 9 for Ashford but have now reopened.

Emergency services were called, and a spokeswoman for the ambulance service said: “We were called at approximately 10.45am today to reports of an RTC involving two vehicles on the M20 between junctions nine and eight.

“Crews assessed and treated two patients at the scene before taking them both to William Harvey Hospital for further medical treatment.”

A Kent County Council Highways spokesman said on X: “Expect delays on the approach and allow extra time for your journey.”
