At the Designer Outlet, two 20-year-old men from Gilingham and Sheerness were arrested on suspicion of shoplifting on Friday.

They were later released on bail pending further inquiries.

Police say the operation led to more than £2,600 worth of suspected stolen jewellery, festive ornaments and sportswear being recovered by police.

Two women were also arrested and charged.

Amber Stoker, 32, and 31-year-old Louisa Willett, both of Edgar Road, Hounslow, were charged with stealing jewellery worth £2,176 on 13 December, and the theft of clothing and shoes from a shop on the same date.

Ms Stoker was also charged with stealing soft toys worth £177 from a shop in Staines, Surrey, on August 28.

They were bailed to appear at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on January 3.
